Remember Kim Clarke Champniss from MuchMusic? He’s got an amazing new book all about the music and cultural-political impact of the 80s and the repercussions we are still feeling today – “The Republic of Rock ‘N Roll: The Roaring 80s from Curtis to Cobain” – and he tells us all about it. Also, in the wake of Margaret Thatcher’s death we look at the Iron Lady’s impact on British music; plus an artist feature on singer-songwriter (and actress) Melanie Peterson.
