Sheppard Transit Vote To Be Held March 15th.
We'll find out on March 15th, what the plan of attack will be for the city of Toronto when it comes to transit.
The meeting was supposed to be held on March 21st but was pushed up.
An expert panel that was struck to look at the future of mass transit for the Sheppard line, will report back to council who will then vote on a plan.
The panel can chose between subways, which are the Mayors' favourite, or LRT's for the Sheppard line.
The Provincial Governmemt had suggested that the City of Toronto get their act together, in order for them to write the cheque for 8.4 billion dollars to fund a plan.
But Premier Dalton McGuinty says he will stick with the will of council, rather than with the wishes of Mayor Rob Ford.
