VIDEO: Olympic hopefuls mark 100 days until London Games
For Canada's athletes, "it's pure excitement" with only 100 days to go before the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Opening ceremonies will kick things off on Friday, July 27th.
On Wednesday, the Canadian Olympic Committee celebrated the 100-day mark along with three trampoline gymnasts who are hoping to take home the gold.
"It seems like a short time for an Olympian who's on a four-year cycle and also for me who's been training for 20 years," says trampolinist Karen Cockburn. "A hundred days is nothing. It's crunch time for us now."
Jason Burnett, a trampolinist who won a silver at the 2008 Games, says training is intense right now.
"Life is very busy right now with the amount of training," Burnett says. "We're in the gym nine times a week. So we've got double and triple training pretty much five days a week."
And as for how they're feeling with 100 days to go, trampolinist Rosannagh MacLennan says it's not nervousness they're feeling right now.
"We're all really excited. You can really feel the buildup and the momentum leading up to the Games," McLellan says.
