A home owner got a rude awakening Saturday morning - the sound of a car crashing into the front of the home.

The accident happened at about 4:30 a.m. on Senlac Rd, near Bathurst St and Finch Ave W.

Police say officers spotted the car speeding minutes earlier and started a pursuit. The pursuit was then stopped for safety reasons and shortly after that the car crashed into a home.

The driver has been arrested.
