Caesars Reps to Visit City in Search of Casino Location
Another Las Vegas casino giants is expressing interest in doing business in Toronto.
The Sun reports, representatives from Caesars Entertainment will visit the city next week to take a look around at a possible casino location. It was confirmed by the executive vice president of Caesars.
Jan Jones says they have heard the talk about the waterfront, but also want to look at other locations. They want to meet the community and understand what the city would like in a resort destination partner.
She also predicted that any investment by Caesars, would be over $1- billion. Caesars Entertainment Corp. already operates 52 casinos on five continents and has already registered four lobbyists. One of them being former councillor Paul Sutherland.
This isn't the first casino giant to express interest in building here, MGM representatives have already met with the Mayor and councillors.
