Environment Canada Warns of Significant Rain Friday
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement ahead of a weather system headed toward the GTA and surrounding areas Friday.
It says that there will be significant amounts of rainfall in the area; 20 to 30 mm of rain is expected for most of the areas, spanning from Windsor, east to Kingston and North to Cottage Country.
There could be more rain, 30-50mm, in the areas around the golden horseshoe, north to Barrie and eastward to Haliburton, Peterborough and Belleville.
Envoironment Canada says brisk and gusty winds will also accompany the system.
