Smog advisory continues for much of Ontario

A smog advisory continues for much of Ontario.

The advisory stretches from Windsor to Oshawa and Niagara Falls to Parry Sound.

The ministry of environment says today will be a day of elevated air pollution.

The weather will be sunny and very warm with light winds because of a stagnant weather pattern.

The ministry asks that you spare the air by turning air conditioners to a higher temperature, turning off lights, computers and other electrical appliances when you're not using them.

Heavy outdoor activities in this weather could cause respiratory symptoms like coughing or shortness of breath. People with heart or lung disease including asthma could experience a worsening of their condition.
