Three cats have been killed in a fire at a pet store in Roncesvalles.

The blaze broke out at about 3 a.m. at Kennel Cafe near the corner of Roncesvalles Ave and Geoffrey St.

Police pulled several cats and dogs from the shop, some of which they were able to save.

A tenant who lives above the store was also evacuated and was not injured.
