Toronto police are investigating a string of violent downtown robberies that sent three people to hospital.

Around 1:30 a.m. around College Park near Yonge and College 4-7 suspects robbed 6 people in 4 separate incidents.

There is no immediate description of any of the suspects.

At least three people were sent to hospital after being stabbed.

A man and a woman in their 20s suffered non-life threatening injuries. The man was stabbed in the abdomen while the woman was slashed on the arm.

Another man suffered what EMS called minor head injuries.
