The country's biggest federal public sector union says almost 4-thousand of its members in 13 departments are being notified today they could lose their jobs.

PSAC says the government is misleading you when it says these cuts won't impact services.

It says very little information is being provided.

Since the federal budget was tabled in March nearly 17,000 of its members in 44 federal departments and agencies have been told they could be out of work.
