Posted By: David Woodard · 6/27/2012 4:33:00 PM

Last week it was Senior's Restaurant near Yonge and St.Clair; this week Captain John's floating restaurant is closing its doors for good.

Waterfront Toronto has rescinded its lease on the slip, meaning the owner John Letnik has until July 27th to shove off.

The ship will likely have to be towed away to the scrapyard Letnik owes $500,000 in back taxes, rent and insurance on the slip.

The owner says he is looking for a buyer for the famed restaurant at the foot of Yonge St.
