One of the world's biggest porn stars says he was enlisted to help catch Luka Rocco Magnotta.

Ron Jeremy said he was asked to lure Magnotta to Los Angeles with a fake offer to appear in an x-rated flick.

This offer was allegedly been made long before Magnotta became a murder suspect.

Jeremy says he was asked about the 'sting operation' when Magnotta was suspected to be the man behind internet videos showing a person killing and torturing kittens.

The idea was hatched by human rights group Rescue Ink, who reached out to Jeremy through former Playboy playmates 'The Barbi Twins.'

Jeremy initially wanted to play along, but according to the Barbi Twins, he backed out.

Magnotta is sitting in a Quebec jail on charges he killed and dismembered Chinese national student Jun Lin.
