Hot weather sticking around
Environment Canada says if this hot and humid weather holds for another two weeks, we could hit a new record for July.
The agency is keeping an eye on the mean temperature this month - that's the average of the high and low temperatures. Environment Canada says this July's mean temperature could surpass last year's.
Temperatures are expected to stay in the 30s through the week.
Because of the hot temperatures and recent dry conditions, much of Ontario has been designated by the Ministry of Natural Resources as at high or extreme fire danger.
So far this year, officials have put out more than 670 wildfires across the province.
