Report: City's Latest Murder Victim Was at Deadly BBQ
There are unconfirmed reports that the city's latest murder victim was at Monday's night's barbecue on Danzig Street, where two people were killed in gunfight that is believed to be gang-related.
Police have identified the victim as 27-year-old Daniel Davis.
Toronto Police were called to Flemington Park Public School in the Lawrence and Allen Road area, where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds shortly after 1 a.m., Thursday.
Police say he was found in the schoolyard and was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
This marks the third straight night that gun violence has claimed someone's life in the city.
This is Toronto's 30th murder of the year.
Police haven't confirmed the victim's identity or said if the murder is connected to Monday's.
