The man who disappeared under the water at Bluffer's Park Thursday afternoon in Scarborough has died.

Rescuers pulled the 24-year old out around 5:00pm.

Emergency crews performed CPR on the scene before taking him to Scarborough General Hospital. 

Apparently, the water was running fast and the victim wasn't a good swimmer.

His friends called 911 when the victim didn't come up for air.
