Local movie theatres are taking security precautions after last night's massacre in Aurora, Colorado.

Cineplex Entertainment says the security of their guests remains their top priority and they will have security measures in place for their upcoming shows.

No word in the release what those security measures will be.

The company says they will also be donating a portion of the proceeds from tonight's box office to the Red Cross RespectED: Violence and Abuse Prevention program.
