Jose Bautista won't be back in the Blue Jays' up right away when he comes off the DL on Wednesday.

The slugger swung a bat for the 1st time on Saturday since hurting his left wrist.  Bautista wrenched in earlier this month after hitting a long foul ball at Yankee Stadium.

Blue Jays manager John Farrell expects Bautista will need a few more deals beyond August 1st to heal.

Joey Bats was leading the AL with 27 home runs when he got hurt.  Adam Dunn, Curtis Granderson & Josh Hamilton have passed him now.
