Boxing
Welterweight Custio Clayton advances to quarterfinals, giving Canada its first Olympic boxing win in 8 years
Diving
Emilie Heymans & Jennifer Abel captured Canada's 1st medal of the Olympics, a bronze in the 3m synchronized springboard event
Cycling
Cyclist Clara Hughes fails to add to her career medal haul, finishing 32nd in the women's road race. Fellow Canadians Joelle Numainville came in 12th with Denise Ramsden in 27th spot
Fencing
Philippe Beaudry lost in the round of 32 to Dmitri Lapkes of Belarus in individual sabre
Judo
Sasha Mehmedovic won his opening match before losing to Japan's Masashi Ebinuma, the world champion in the men's under-66kg division
Rowing
The women's 8 will row for a medal Thursday after winning their heat today
Michael Braithwaite & Kevin Kowalyk advance to semifinals in men's double sculls after today's repechage
Lindsay Jennerich & Patricia Obee & Douglas Vandor & Morgan Jarvis will need the repechage to get a chance at advancing in lightweight double sculls

Greg Douglas finished 16th in qualifying in the men's 1-person dinghy heavyweight finn race

Mo Zhang lost in the 2nd round of women's singles to Austria's Qiangbing Li

Milos Raonic opening match against Japan's Tatsuma Ito has been put delayed until Monday because of the rain. Aleksandra Wozniak's match has been rescheduled too. Mens doubles pair Vasek Pospisil & Daniel Nestor will also have to wait to play.
