UPDATE: Police search for 'person of interest' in Vaughan stabbing
Detectives in York Region are trying to collect as many leads as possible after a stabbing late Wednesday night left 2 men lying bloodied in the street of a quiet residential neighbourhood.
22-year old Muzaffar Goraya died and the other victim, a 27-year old, is in hospital with serious stab wounds.
Police received a call just before midnight on Wednesday to 37 Columbo Crescent in Maple, near Jane Street and Teston Road.
When they arrived, they found two men in their 20's were found suffering from stab wounds lying outside on the lawn.
They were both rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital where one of the men was pronounced dead. The other man is in serious condition.
Police confirmed that they are looking for 28-year-old Nema Mansouri (pictured), calling him a 'person of interest.' They have obstained an arrest warrant for him.
He is described as Middle Eastern, approximately six-feet tall and has a tattoo on his chest. He was last seen driving a 2004 Acura TL.
