Police are asking the public for help in a stabbing investigation that happened on Lawrence Avenue West in May.

Police say both the suspect and victim got on a TTc bus at Bloor St. and Jane St at 4:15pm on May 25th and then got off just before five at Lawrence.

Police say the suspect then approached the victim from behind and stabbed him in the back. He then fled.

The suspect is described as having a dark complexion, is around 5'10" and 169 lbs. He was last seen wearing a beige short-sleeved shirt, blue pants or jeans and wearing metal-framed prescription glasses.
