UPDATE: Ford Hospitalized After Adverse Reaction to Food
An adverse reaction to something he ate, caused stomach and throat irritation, leading to increased bouts of asthma.
That from the mayor's office Wednesday afternoon after Rob Ford admitted himself to hospital late Tuesday.
Mayor Rob Ford was admitted overnight, and after several tests doctors said they located something irritating the mayor's stomach and throat, aggravating his asthma.
Ford missed a news conference earlier Tuesday because of a stomach issue.
It is still unclear when Ford will be released. However, the mayor's spokesman says Ford is feeling 'much better' than he did on Tuesday.
It's not the first time Ford has been in hospital since he was elected.
Last year, he was treated for kidney stones.
