The man who less than a week ago won Olympic Tennis gold has withdrawn from the Rogers Cup in Toronto this week.

After winning his first match Wednesday, Andy Murray pulled out of the tournament with an injury to his knee.

It means Canada's Milos Raonic now moves onto the next round without having to take on the Olympic champion.

The matinee session was delayed due to rain on Thursday.  The final is expected to be played Sunday night.
