The Maple Leafs have signed 2011 first round draft choice Tyler Biggs to a three-year deal.

The 19-year-old forward played for Miami University in Ohio last season, netting nine goals and eight assists, and logged 63 penalty minutes.

The 6-3, 210-pound right-winger ranked second on Miami in penalty minutes.

He won gold medals with Team USA at both the 2010 and 2011 IIHF World U-18 Championships, as well as at the 2010 World U-17 World Championships.
