Jays Fan Suffers Cardiac Arrest During Game
Some tense moments as the Blue Jays played the White Sox Thursday evening, and it wasn't because of the game.
A fan suffered cardiac arrest and paramedics rushed in and performed CPR on the man, who was carted off on a stretcher.
Umpire Mark Wegner was approached by White Sox third baseman Kevin Youkilis who noticed what was happening. Play was paused for about 4 minutes.
The man was pronounced dead in hospital.
After the game, Blue Jays coach John Farrell said, "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the person who was taken out of here tonight."
Another fan went into cardiac arrest at a Jays' game on June 29.
