Two people are dead and seven others injured, including one in critical condition after a head-on collision in Caledon Saturday night.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Highway 10 just south of Forks of the Credit Road.

Police say it appears a pick-up drifted into the opposite lane and hit a minivan carrying 9 people.

OPP say 49-year old Christopher White of Halton and 41-year old Elizabeth McDougall of Mississauga were killed.

White was driving the mini-van and McDougall was in the passenger's seat.

Police say it's too early to determine if charges will be laid.
