Mayor Ford Setting Up Football High School Match with Edmonton Mayor
The mayors of Edmonton and Toronto are hoping for a little behind-the-bench rivalry.
They're trying to set up a football game between a high school team from the Alberta capital and one of the top teams in Ontario this season.
That team from Etobicoke is coached by Toronto Mayor Rob Ford.
Edmonton Mayor Stephen Mandel says such a game would be ``neat.''
Edmonton City Coun. Bryan Anderson, a former high school football coach himself, is working on the logistics to see whether the match could be pulled off.
Ford and Mandel got together last Friday at Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium where the Eskimos were playing the Montreal Alouettes.
