A man in his 40s has died in an industrial accident Bayview Ave and Hwy 401.

Police say he fell a couple of stories off a scaffold at about 8:30 a.m. on Fifeshire Road, a residential area.

The man was bleeding from the head when paramedics arrived.

He had no vital signs when he was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Ministry of Labour has been called in to investigate.
