Air Canada Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Pearson
A regional Air Canada flight from Toronto to Newark had to make an emergency flight at Pearson International Thursday afternoon.
It happened just after 1 o clock, when the plane, after about twenty minutes in the air, had to turn around after a mechanical issue in the engine.
Air Canada spokesman Peter Fitzpatrick says the emergency landing was just a precaution and that all 73 passengers and 4 crew members are in good condition.
Fitzpatrick says they are now working to find another plane to get the passengers to their destination.
