A Mississauga man has been arrested on allegations he lied to a woman telling her he was an immigration officer and sexually assaulted her.

Earlier this week police say a 51-year-old woman was contacted by a man, saying he was an immigration officer.

Raymond Cole allegedly met her, saying he was investigating a case involving her.  They met in a hotel where he allegedly sexually assaulted her and demanded money in exchange for having her immigration file closed.

He also told her if she reported the assault to police he would have arrested due to her alleged immigration problems.

Thursday, Coles was arrested on sexual assault, personate peace officer and extortion charges.

Police believe there could be more victims.
