A 4 year old child was rushed to hospital after falling from a 5th floor balcony Friday afternoon in Scarborough.

It happened at a building on Meadow Glen in the Markham Road and Ellesmere area around 2 in the afternoon.

Police do not suspect foul play, they say the child could have walked out onto the balcony and climbed over the edge.
