Bomb Threat Closes Kennedy Station

Posted By: Dave Bradley · 9/4/2012 10:11:00 PM

Toronto police evacuated Kennedy subway station in east-end Toronto on Tuesday evening after a suspicious package was
found on a train.

A cleaner found the package and alerted officials.

Service through Kennedy station was halted for a number of hours.

After a short investigation by the ETF squad, the station was given the all clear.

It was found that the package was some sort of prank, with writing on the outside of the envelope, indicating there was a bomb inside.

But the envelope was empty.

No injuries were reported.

I hope that the person or persons behind this stupid prank are brought to justice and punished to the full extent of the law. Some people can be such outright morons. Distrupting service for thousands of commuters is not a joke. GET A FREAKIN' LIFE!
