Toronto police traffic services are investigating after a boy was hit by a minivan near Yonge and Finch.

It happened earlier Wednesday at the corner of Kenneth and Pemberton.  Police say the boy,  around 4 or 5 years of age, recieved cuts to the forehead and nose. 

Paramedics say the boy was breathing and conscious when he was taken to Sick Kids hospital.

Police aren't saying what caused the accident, or whether charges are pending.
