Toronto Police have made it official; body parts found floating in a suitcase in Lake Ontario on Wednesday, do belong to 41 year old Guang Hua Liu.

The spa owner from Scarborough was found murdered and dismembered last month.

The suitcase was found by boaters about 2 and a half kilometers off shore in Lake Ontario around 11:20 on Wednesday.

They towed it in, and police later determined the contents to be a badly decomposed human torso.

An autopsy was held on Thursday.

Peel Police are now taking over the investigation. 

The woman's ex boyfriend has already been charged in her death and remains in custody.
