Police are investigating the city's latest homicide at an east end apartment building.

It was at about 2:45 a.m. that police say the call came in for an "unknown trouble" at a public housing building at Cedarbrae Manor on Greencrest Circuit in the Lawrence Avenue and Markham Road area.

When officers arrived, they found the body of a man on a second floor balcony.

Police were treating the death as suspicious, but are now treating it as a murder. Three people who were inside the apartment were taken in for questioning but no one has been charged yet.

This is the city's 35th murder of the year.
