Police ask for help to solve Scarborough murder
Toronto Police are asking for more help to solve a Scarborough murder.
28-year-old Abdulaziz Farah was shot in the head early Saturday on Fawcett Trail, in the McLevin & Morningside area.
Toronto Homicide Detective Omar Khan says police think Farah drove himself to Fawcett Trial with his attacker in the car. After a "violent encounter", it's thought that the murderer took off in Farah's car.
After releasing a description of the car, it turned up in a plaza parking lot at near Kingston Rd & Port Union Rd. Detective Khan says a forensic team is examining it.
Police are asking anyone who knows what Abdulaziz Farah did Friday night into Saturday morning or who he was with, to give them a call at 416-808-7000.
Farah's described a black man of Somali-decent, standing 5'11. He was wearing a red-checkered shirt, jeans & white runners when he died.
His car is a black, 4-door Acura with chrome rims & Ontario licence plate #BMEP 115.
