The Ontario Medical Association (OMA) says they aren't dropping a court challenge with the province despite the Ministry of Health announcing the two sides are headed back to the table.

The OMA  tells Newstalk 1010 those legal papers were filed in regards to the province making what it calls unilateral changes to the doctor's fee schedule earlier this year.

The province's doctors are staying positive that negotiaions will be starting up again soon but admit they have no idea when the process will start.

Health Minister Deb Matthews says she's thrilled that the two sides are moving in the same direction when it comes to talks.

Matthews says the province's fiscal situation remains unchanged.
