Ford Targets Senior Staff
Toronto mayor Rob Ford continues to warn that he's going to be looking at senior staff at city hall in the ongoing search for efficiencies this fall.
He first made the comments on Newstalk 1010 Friday at FordFest and re-stated his commitment to that process Monday at City Hall, saying he thinks there are too many senior staff working for Toronto.
Ford says there will be an examination of directors, managers, and supervisors, something he says the city manager is also on board with.
Deputy Mayor Doug Holyday agreed with looking through the ranks of senior staff for efficiencies, but wouldn't say that layoffs were needed.
