Toronto Police say a young man is lucky to be alive after being shot in the head on Tuesday afternoon in the Jane and Wilson area.

Cops say the shots rang out around 5:30 and claim the man wasn't seriously hurt, with the shooting more of a 'graze'.

They do say he is expected to live.

As for an id, Police would only say it was a man in his late teens or early 20's.

Officers also don't have any suspects.
