*BREAKING* New iPhone5 Released
It's been around for almost 6 years, and today, the iPhone is getting a facelift.
Called the iPhone5, it is the thinnest lightest phone Apple has ever made.
It's 18% thinner than the iPhone4S and also 20% lighter.
There's the same retina display, with 326 pixels per inch as the previous version of the iPhone, but this one is a little bigger, with a 4 inch display screen.
Battery life will be longer with it lasting 10 hours while connected to wifi and the new phone will also be able to connect to faster LTE networks.
With the vertical pixels, Apple has been able to add a fifth row of icons, which means you see more of the web, more of your email and your Calendar shows more events.
The iPhone5 is made entirely of glass and aluminum, and will come with a new connector which is reversible and already autio companies are creating new docking stations.
There will be an adapter which can still connect the new phone to older docking systems.
No word yet on a retail price here in Canada but the phone will be available to Canadian consumers on September 21st.
