Group Wants To Screen Controverisal Film in Toronto
With violence continuing around the world, the Canadian Hindu Advocacy appears ready to try and spur on some of that violence here in Toronto.
It surrounds a controversial film, that depicts the prophet mohammed as a womanizer and a madman.
Ron Banerjee spoke with Jim Richards on Newstalk1010 Thursday afternoon, outlining how he wishes to screen that movie here in this city.
He doesn't have a location for a screening, but Barerjee says they'll also show snippets from other movies that are films that areoffensive to Christians and Hindus.
He calls it a way of fighting intollerance.
At least one caller into the show called Banerjee, "a vile disgusting little man, who wants to bring violence to this country."
Banerjee says he has the praise of Pastor Terry Jones, the Florida Pastor who once burned a copy of the Qu'ran.
