Another embarassment could be on its way for the McGuinty Liberals.
The Toronto Star reports that a $46-million diabetes registry being developed by CGI is being cancelled.
The registry was supposed to be ready by June 2011, but there have been numerous delays.
The Star reports, though, that such a single-disease registry isn't needed anyway. There already is an electronic medical record used by 9-thousand Ontario physicians that cross-references various ailments.
CGI has reportedly not been paid yet for the work - they were to be paid on delivery.
