Gas station attendant struck and killed

Posted By: Newstalk 1010 · 9/16/2012 8:23:00 AM

A gas station attendant has died after he was hit by a fleeing vehicle.

It happened just after 9 p.m. Saturday at a Shell station near Marlee and Roselawn Aves.

Police say the attendant may have been dragged by the vehicle.

The suspect is a white man with a heavy build and full beard. He was driving a grey or silver Isuzu Rodeo SUV that likely has front-end damage.

    Howdy,

The last 3 news casts by Justine state that the Shell station is "n the Dufferin & Eglinton area" BUT it is actually 1.4 km further away at Roselawn & Marlee ( as stated in your online report). The better reference would be the Allen Expressway & Eglinton, which is 750m away!
    ...thx, Ted

This would never have happened if they had to pay for gas first! Millions of Americans have managed to drive and refuel with a pre-pay system for 30-40 years now, when will Canadian gas stations catch up? The grocery store doesn't let you take your bags out to the car and then come back in to pay. It's not the Major Companies like Shell that takes the loss but the operator working 50 hours a week to break even.

sounds more like Forest Hill if the clown was driving an Isuzu Rodeo SUV,,,,likely stolen off Russell Hill Road, then filled up to go on the 401...elsewhere!
