Premier Admits to eHealth Troubles
There have been challenges with the implementation of the eHealth system.
That's from Premier Dalton McGuinty, who commented on an eHealth board recommendation to the Health Minister to get rid of the $46 million diabetes registry since the technology it uses has effectively become obsolete.
However, McGuinty they are no different than any other ones he's seen internationally.
McGuinty underlines the cost of scrapping the registry wouldn't be a taxpayer expense and any costs will be shouldered by the private sector partner.
Meantime, PC leader Tim Hudak says this is another sad story coming out of the Ministry of Health and eHealth.
