Posted By: Russ Courtney · 9/17/2012 4:23:00 PM

The man killed in the fatal gas and dash over the weekend has been identified by Toronto police and the man wanted in connection with his death is now being sought for second degree murder.

44 year-old Toronto man Jayesh Prajapati was killed in the incident on Marlee Avenue at Roselawn on Saturday.

Police are seeking 39 year-old Max Edwin Tutiven for second-degree murder and believe he may have fled to Montreal.

It's believed he's driving a 2000-2003 silver or beige four door Isuzu Rodeo. The vehicle may have license plates.

Police are urging Tutiven to contact a lawyer or police.

hope this scum bag gets 20 years for killing this poor man and destroying his family. Of course our system'll just give him a short sentence so others can see the punishment doesn't fit the crime

In addition to this asshat being charged, the franchise owner or supervisor should be charged with negligent homicide in this case. Their actions lead to a work environment that put this employee in a life-threatening situation. Whether or not a conviction comes of this, just watch how fast other retailers implement a pay-before-you-pump policy.
