Police are investigating a double homicide in Rexdale Tuesday morning.

The call came in shortly before 1:30 a.m. to a street off of John Garland Boulevard, near Kipling.

EMS confirm they were dispatched to 27 Jamestown Crescent, where they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds behind the building, in the Martingrove and Finch area.

Both had been shot in the head, and both pronounced dead at the scene.

The area does have some Toronto Community Housing residences, but it's not clear if this was one of them. Across the street is Greenholme Junior Middle School.

The ages and names of the victims have not been released. Also no information on possible suspects.
