Police have identified the victims of a double homicide in the area of Jamestown Cres and John Garland Blvd.

Officers were called for the sound of gunshots at about 1:20 a.m. Tuesday.

They found two men with gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The victims have been identified as 26-year-old Suleiman Ali of Toronto and 26-year-old Warsame Ali of Vaughan. They are not related.

The suspect is described as male, black, 5’10". He was last seen wearing a black hoodie. Police say he fled the scene on foot.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday.
