UPDATE: Police Arrest Suspected Gunman in Series of Shootings
Toronto police say they have arrested a man in connection with a series of shootings in Scarborough last year.
19 year old Ad-Ham Khamis is facing several charges including 4 counts of attempted murder.
The arrest was made while Khamis was walking on a Scarborough street on Thursday.
It's suspected that Khamis opened fire on three young people as they stood in front of a Domino's Pizza shop last September. He's also accused of shooting a man during a drug deal on Northfield Drive in November of 2011.
Police had previously made a very public plea for witnesses to come forward in the deaths of D'mitre Barnaby as well as two others on Danzig Street during a community Barbecue in July.
It's believed that Khamis is a well known member of the Galloway Boys gang.
That's the gang that has been tagged by police as being responsible for the killing of Barnaby and the mass shooting on Danzig.
