Olympic Heroes Parade Through Toronto Streets
Still feeling that Olympic spirit? You can get your fill at the Olympic Heroes Parade on Friday.
25 vehicles will travel through Toronto streets with Canadian Olympians from the London 2012 games, meeting and greeting fans along the route. The parade also features bands, London cabs and a double-decker bus.
The event starts at Bay and Queen streets at 11:30 a.m., heads south on Bay to Wellington, west on Wellington and then south on Yonge to Bremner Boulevard. There will be intermittent road closures in the area between 6 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
The route ends at Maple Leaf Square where the party continues with more bands, and interviews with athletes.
