Olympic Athletes Take Over Toronto
Fans have gathered, singing and waving flags cheering on their Olympic heroes.
Over 175 Canadian Olympians and Paralympic athletes from the London 2012 Games are in decorated vehicles, floats and walking the route waving and reaching out to the fans as the parade winds its way through the streets.
It started at 11:30 on Friday morning and will wrap up at Maple Leaf Square, outside the Air Canada Centre.
Among the athletes taking part in the parade, is King City's Rosie MacLennan who won Canada's only gold medal of the 2012 games.
