It wasn't human - remains found at a Transfer station near Dufferin and Finch were those of Bear.

The investigation began this afternoon after police said 'organic material' was found at the Vanley Waste Transfer Station.

The Coroner's office and Toronto's Homicide Unit were called in to investigate.

There's no word as to how the bear's remains may have got there in the first place.
